Pastors Henry and Sherry Snyder have led The River Church for over 16 years and have called the Mount Washington Valley home for 20 years. Graduates of Zion Bible College (now Northpoint Bible College), they’ve pastored churches across multiple states and served in key leadership roles, including Pastor Henry’s work as a Presbyter in two Assemblies of God districts and Director of Church Ministries in Northern New England. Their passion for missions has taken them worldwide, teaching pastoral seminars in Zimbabwe, Kenya, and Rwanda, and leading teams to countries like Jamaica and Argentina. With decades of ministry experience, their leadership is marked by a deep commitment to the truth of Jesus Christ and a heart for both the local church and the global mission field.
Pastor Peter and Noelle Samuels serve as the Children’s Pastors at The River Church, bringing a strong foundation of ministry experience and leadership. Graduates of Crossroads Leadership College in Louisiana, they have been actively involved in various Christian leadership roles, demonstrating a passion for discipling the next generation. In addition to their work with children, they lead worship and oversee the church band, using their gifts to foster an environment of heartfelt praise and biblical teaching. Their ministry is rooted in a desire to see lives transformed by the truth of God’s Word.
Pastor Brent Dunfee and his wife Tabby serve at The River Church, where Brent is both the Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor. He is dedicated to strengthening the church through outreach and discipleship while guiding the next generation to grow in their faith. Working alongside the leadership team, Brent is committed to proclaiming the gospel, equipping believers, and encouraging lives rooted in biblical truth.
